How temporada works and how we handle your data. These are the principles; the final legal text is published before launch.

Rules for using temporada as a guest or a host: property listings, requests and booking confirmation, and each party's responsibilities.

Your house’s photos on our social media

When you list your house you allow us to use its photos, free of charge and non-exclusively, on temporada’s Instagram and Facebook, to promote your house and the site. The photos are still yours. Before your house’s first post we email you the date and a link to turn it off without signing in. You can also turn it off any time from your house’s listing, and from then on we don’t use them in new posts. We never post the house’s address or retouch the photos.

Payments between the parties

temporada does not process or hold payments. The deposit and the balance are transferred directly between guest and host. The platform is not a party to that transaction.

Privacy and personal data

What data is collected, for what purpose and for how long, under Uruguay's Personal Data Protection Law No. 18.331. Rights of access, rectification and deletion.

What we keep: your account details (name, email and phone if you add it), your listings, your requests and bookings, the inquiries you send us and the alerts you asked for (new houses, discounts).
What for: to run the site (listing, requesting, booking, replying to you) and to notify you only about what you asked for. We never sell or share data with third parties.
How long: while your account exists. Identity-verification images are deleted 90 days after approval and 30 days after rejection.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (which pages are viewed, which searches are made, how many requests and listings come in). It stores a cookie with a random identifier, not your name or email: the addresses we send carry no personal data and no booking numbers. No advertising and no ad profiles. Your browser also stores local preferences (language, session).
Our own counts (how many people see each resort-town page and how many list a property) are daily totals that identify no one: we store no IP, no browser fingerprint and no identifier that could follow you across pages.
Your rights (Law 18.331): access, rectification, update and deletion of your data by writing to privacidad@temporada.com.uy. We answer within the legal deadlines.
